A Manifesto for Writers Who Choose to Thrive

I believe:
You have the right to write your book.
You have the right to write your book NOW.
You have the right to enjoy your paid work.
You have the right to do work that matters.
You have the right to choose your specialties or services from a place of clarity and confidence. (Not from a place of fear.)
You have the right to market yourself with an authentic style and a simple strategy that gets you results and makes you feel terrific.
You have the right to take care of YOU as you run your business, show up for work, care for your family and run your household.
You have the right to say “Yes” to what serves you.
You have the right to set boundaries and say “No” to friends, family or clients when needed.
I believe your own writing matters.
And that you have the right to release your fear, self-sabotage and habits of distraction.
You have the right to bypass years of struggle, if you choose.
You have the right to have fun on the page.
(You have the right to have fun off the page, too.)
You have the right to pursue your goals with passion, focus and spot-on strategy.
You also have the right to a smart community and compassionate, results-focused support as you pursue your goals.
I believe:
- You have the right to say YES to your book, business and writing goals.
- You have the right to achieve them.
- And you have the right to get started now, if you choose.
Given your brain, your heart and your creative talent, I believe you’ve got more power than you’ll ever know.
I believe it’s time to write.
